Where can you find a large dairy with a methane digester, a goat farm with its own cafe and a farmstead with an on-site creamery?
Join Badger NAMA for a tour of the diverse dairy industry in Fond du Lac, Wis. from 9:15 a.m. – 2:45 p.m. on Thursday, July 24.
The day is packed with dairy goodness, starting at Vir-Clar Farm, a 1,250-cow dairy with a methane digester and a focus on building relationships with consumers.
The tour continues at LaClare Farms, a family farm with 375 milking goats and a farm cafe featuring seasonal entrees made from local ingredients.
The day will conclude at Kelley Country Creamery with a tour of farm and creamery. Special thanks to Hoard’s Dairyman for sponsoring ice cream for the tour group. What a great way to celebrate National Ice Cream Month!
