Cows, Goats & Ice Cream – Join Badger NAMA for a Day of Dairy Goodness

NAMA Fond du Lac Farm TourWhere can you find a large dairy with a methane digester, a goat farm with its own cafe and a farmstead with an on-site creamery?

Join Badger NAMA for a tour of the diverse dairy industry in Fond du Lac, Wis. from 9:15 a.m. – 2:45 p.m. on Thursday, July 24.

The day is packed with dairy goodness, starting at Vir-Clar Farm, a 1,250-cow dairy with a methane digester and a focus on building relationships with consumers.

The tour continues at LaClare Farms, a family farm with 375 milking goats and a farm cafe featuring seasonal entrees made from local ingredients.

The day will conclude at Kelley Country Creamery with a tour of farm and creamery. Special thanks to Hoard’s Dairyman for sponsoring ice cream for the tour group. What a great way to celebrate National Ice Cream Month!

Check out the NAMA Fond du Lac Farm Tour Flyer for more information about the tour, carpool information and to register.

See you in Fond du Lac!
